Synchronization Issues
Issue: Desktop Notes Sync is unavailable
Summary: The Notes option isn’t showing or cannot be enabled in the Desktop ActiveSync Options.

Solution:
Issue: Common ActiveSync Errors
Summary: ActiveSync is reporting an ActiveSync Synchronization Error, or ActiveSync Resolve Items
Solutions: These issues can be resolved by simply un-connecting your device from the personal computer, and reconnecting it.
If the issue still remains:
1. Reboot your device
2. Delete NoteSync.dll from the \Windows directory
3. Unselect Notes sync from the device ActiveSync options
4. Uninstall the device app
5. Delete Mobile device from Desktop ActiveSync, and re-setup a partnership
(Don’t select Notes)
Microsoft Knowledgebase:
Issue: New Notes are not synchronized
Summary: While the Motorola Q device is connected to the desktop, new notes created on the device are not synchronized.
Solution: Reconnect your device. Upon reconnect, the new notes will be synchronized properly.
Note: This issue is caused by a difference of the file system of the Motorola Q device and only effects this device. The issue will be resolved with the next release.
Issue: How to enable NoteSync logging
Summary: The NoteSync module can log it progress to help identify and troubleshoot synchronization anomalies.
Solution: Orneta Service must send an installer that will enable the logging component.
