Issue

Mark mode wont select text with Samsung i320 (QWERTY)

Summary

After selecting the Mark menu item, cursor movement does not select text.

Solution

This issue has been resolved with Scissors Mobile 2007 and Notepad Mobile 2007.

This is a confirmed bug affecting only the Samsung i320. The problem does not affect the Samsung Blackjack (i600, i607), Motorola Q, T-Mobile Dash, or O2 Cosmo.

There is a limited functionality workaround:

  • Enter Mark mode by selecting Edit > Mark
  • Open the context menu by pressing the Action button (Middle navigation pad button)
  • Select all text by selecting Select All from the context menu

NOTE: This issue has been resolved with Scissors Mobile 2007 and Notepad Mobile 2007.
